Jeff Byer has a broad litigation practice which is focused primarily on the representation of plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of complex commercial and real estate disputes.  Since beginning his practice in 1990, Jeff has represented clients in all phases of litigation, including jury trials, court trials and arbitrations.  Jeff is a part-time instructor for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, and has served as a Judge Pro Tem for the San Diego Small Claims Court.  He currently serves as a commissioner on the State Bar's Commission on Judicial Nominees Evaluation (JNE Commission) that evaluates judicial candidates and reports to the governor of California.

Practice also includes product liability, employment disputes and personal injury matters.
